Poultry feed hammer mill crushing equipment and technology of poultry feed materials

Crushing is one of the most commonly used raw material pretreatment methods in poultry feed production process. Its purpose is to turn large particles (lumps) of raw materials into small particles and powder, which is convenient for poultry animals to digest and absorb. According to the particle size of the crushed materials, the crushing can be roughly divided into coarse crushing, fine crushing and superfine crushing.　　

1. Principle and process of crushing

Crushing is the use of mechanical force to turn large-particle materials into small particles and powder. Common crushing forces include extrusion, impact, shear, friction, splitting, bending, etc.

According to the role of the material and the poultry chicken feed crushing machine, the material is gradually crushed into small particles through three forms in the poultry feed grinding process:

①The effect of the crushing working fluid on the material (the effect of the impact column/hammer/blade on the material);

②Motion The effect of the material on the working fluid (the effect of the material impacting the ring gear/tooth plate/sieve plate);

③The effect between the moving materials (the main form of action in the jet flow mill).　

2. Evaluation of crushing effect-crushing particle size

Our common expressions "coarse pulverization", "medium pulverization", "fine pulverization" and "fine pulverization" are not enough to describe the specific particle size of pulverization. The "fine pulverization" of one type of pulverizer may be another type The "coarse crushing" of the machine for grinding poultry chicken feed. Other vague expressions are: the corn particle size of suckling pig feed is φ1.0mm sieve-process description, there are differences in crushing models; the best particle size of aquatic product feed is 40-80 mesh-what is the pass rate?

Scientific representation method of crushed particle size: geometric average particle size Dgw, D50, particle size distribution frequency curve (visual illustration of crushed particle size). Usually a reasonable description is what is the percentage of sieving rate that passes through the standard sieve? For example, when corn is crushed to 750μm, the sieving rate of 20 mesh sieve is ≥50%, and 85% is distributed between 10-40 mesh.

The expression method of crushing uniformity: geometric standard deviation Sgw (the smaller the more uniform, the ideal state is 1).　

Method for detecting crushing particle size:

(1) Standard sieve method (applicable to coarse/medium/fine/micro/powder between 12-120 mesh);

(2) Particle size analyzer (suitable for micron powder/nano powder smaller than 120 mesh).　　

3. Factors affecting crushing effect　　

The main factors affecting the crushing particle size are the characteristics of raw materials (such as moisture, fiber, protein and grease content, etc.), animal poultry feed rice wheat crusher (such as model, hammer, screen, auxiliary suction system, etc.).

(1) Physical properties of raw materials　

Feed ingredients are generally composed of starch, protein, fiber, minerals, oil, and moisture. The main factors affecting physical properties: air temperature, material temperature (the material has low temperature and brittleness, and the night crushing is more power-saving), the degree of difficulty of fine crushing: fiber>protein>starch>minerals.　

Oil and water affect the crushing particle size: the higher the oil and water content, the coarser the achievable crushing fineness. Common effective methods for processing high-moisture/high-greasy materials are: mixed crushing and freezing crushing.　　

(2) The influence of poultry feed making machine grinding mill

5. More poultry feed processing equipment

（3）Poultry feed pellet cooler
