1.How to Make Wood Pellets from Wood Raw Materials?

Wood pellet manufacturing process and biomass wood pellet mills are the most important two factors when make pellets from wood chips, shavings and sawdust. In fact, the whole process can be divided into the following steps:

（1）Get Ready Wood Raw Material - Crushing and Drying

This process is to crush the oversized wood chips and wood shavings into much smaller wood sawdust (The sawdust itself does not need crushing). Usually, the wood sawdust will contain much moisture, which is no suitable for pelleting directly. Under such circumstance, the wood sawdust needs to be dried by the biomass rotary dryer. The high quality industrial dryer can decrease its moisture to 8%-16%. Since the wood sawdust rotary dryer is often used in large capacity wood pellet plants, for small capacity wood pellet production processing line, air drying is enough: just spread out the wood sawdust onto the clean and smooth ground.

Step2: Put Wood Sawdust into Wood Pellet Making Machine for Pelleting

This step is often done by an bucket elevator that can feed the wood sawdust into the hopper evenly. If you want to save money, feed the wood sawdust by man is also OK, but the man must be cautious about the feeding speed in case no blockage caused to the wood sawdust pelletizer machine, and the pellets can get out uniformly and without break.
