If you have a farm, there is no cost for chicken manure, even if it does not, the cost of manure is minimal. Chicken manure is a relatively high-quality organic fertilizer, which contains about 1.63%, 1.54%, and 0.85% of pure nitrogen, phosphorus (P2O5), and potassium (K2O). The chicken manure must be fully decomposed before application, and the parasites and their eggs in the chicken manure, as well as some infectious bacteria, are inactivated through the process of decomposing (retting). Because the chicken manure produces high temperature during the decomposing process, it is easy to cause nitrogen loss. Therefore, it is necessary to add water and 5% superphosphate before decomposing, the fertilizer effect will be better. The decomposed method can put chicken manure into the manure tank for soaking, or the surface can be sealed and piled. After being fully decomposed, chicken manure becomes a high-quality base fertilizer for planting crops, or is often used as a base fertilizer for planting fruit trees in winter and throughout the year.
